EmergyCare

EmergyCare is one of Pennsylvania's largest nonprofit ambulance services, providing comprehensive pre-hospital and medical transportation services for the half-million residents in its eight-county service area. In addition to emergency ambulance response, services include non-emergency wheelchair, medical taxi transport, and community ambulance stand-bys.

To fulfill our mission to save lives and positively impact the health, well-being, and safety of the communities we serve, EmergyCare maintains a complement of over 240 employees, 70 vehicles, and eight stations to cover the 2100 square miles of response area and the nearly 65,000 requests for service received last year.

EmergyCare maintains a robust education and community outreach program through our EmergyCare Training Institute, participation in health and wellness fairs, on-site stand-by service for hundreds of community activities, festivals, and sporting events each year.

Eckley's TV & Appliances

Started in 1952 as a small TV/radio shop on North Water Street in Greenville. As Eckley’s grew there was a need for a larger facility moving to the current location in 1969. As the industry changed, so did Eckley’s, adding major kitchen appliances in 1971. Richard D (Rick) took over ownership in 1978 becoming the second generation to own the business. Rick continued ownership until the end of 2015. They joined the Appliance Dealers Cooperative (ADC) in 2010 giving the store a serious competitive edge with the “big box” stores. Third generation owner, Rian R. Eckley, assumed ownership January 1, 2016 and continues to offer the same level of quality and care our customers have come to know for over 65 years.

The Depot Saloon/ News Depot

Ross and his son, Heath, own and operate The Depot Saloon. This building was once a floral shop, and they completely remodeled and redecorated it to bring it back to life as the locally famous craft brewery it is today. Offering craft beer, local wines and mead; serving ox roast and pulled pork sandwiches to eat. Located in front of the Depot Saloon is the News Depot, historic downtown Greenville's oldest running business. Times have changed, but some things stay the same: it's still the downtown area's best place to shop for local and regional newspapers, magazines, PA lottery tickets, cigars, and more!
