The Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce is tasked annually with organizing Christmas decorations in downtown Greenville and Central Park. It is only with the help of organizations like the Lion’s Club, who help us put up lighted trees in Central Park, and the Town’s street department that hang the lighted garland around our light post that these decorations show up every year.

It is also through the generous donations and sponsorships that the hundreds of light strands are replaced annually (they only make it one season).

The chamber would like to start replacing our deteriorating garland each year by purchasing LED snowflake lights that can be mounted to our light posts.

Our goal is four (4) snowflakes each year. Starting at Canal and Main and working outward each year. Each 3ft x 3ft snowflake is $500.

Total Goal for number of light posts is $15,000.

If you are interested in sponsoring a snowflake, please us the contact form on this page. An invoice will be sent for the sponsorship. Sponsors will be recognized on social media, on our Christmas page on our website and in our newsletter.

Thank you for supporting our community!

Christmas Light Parade December 6th, 2025

Pursuant to PennDOT’s approval for the Main Street road closure, this year's Christmas Parade will take place Saturday, December 6 with set up beginning at Riverside Park at 3:30 p.m. The parade will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. taking the following route:

- - Participants will…start from Riverside Park then travel up Race Street to Water Street entrance; turn left onto Main Street and proceed to Louisa Avenue where the parade ends. (Except for the band and Santa, NO units are to turn onto Penn Avenue.)

We respectfully ask that no one incorporate Santa into their display, since he is the main attraction of the parade.
