Know Spam When You See It!

Did you know phishing and spam emails have increased over 42% in the past couple of years? Scams and spam in all forms be it email, text, phone calls and mail are becoming more and more frequent. Some are easy to catch, but new techniques are used and many can fall victim. 

• Did you get a bill for your domain listing? Before you pay, double check where it is coming from... and if you still aren't sure, ask your web support. 

• Did you get a text message from Amazon or USPS about tracking? Do not click the link... like the example above, look at the @ part of the sender email... it's a dead giveaway.

• Some of our members have had their social media blocked from viewers... and it is difficult to get it back. But don't be fooled by emails and Messanger messages making violation claims... it could be spam... again the email address is usually a dead giveaway.

• Lastly, we do not sell our member's information... so if you get an email asking you to buy our contacts list...it's spam. If you are a member an are interested in obtaining our directory, just ask and I will send it to you!
